Sailing the Chesapeake

I asked my Dad and Mom, "You want to visit D.C. during AUGUST?? The hottest month of the year?" But they said, "Yes, it's your birthday," and they came.

Tom and his brother took us sailing to keep us cool. We had our best sailing day of the summer - sunshine, nice breeze, great company. We sailed for over 4 hours from Solomon's Island, Maryland to the Bay and back.
