I've been trying to identify this "new feeling" that's come over me lately. Tonight, I finally identified it. I'm NOT OVERWHELMED. It's the first time in EIGHT YEARS, so that's why it felt so unfamiliar.
It's been a long hike to get here. That is a really bad pun to transition my post's theme: "National Trails System." In sum, who knew that trekking through eight years of uncertainty, teaching 6th graders, & litigating airplane crashes would lead me to a sweet conservation job?
